Known Issues

  • Some articles display in the library Article search as having "No Online Access" even though we do subscribe to the journal. In this case, we recommend looking up the journal by title to access the library subscription.
  • For ebooks in ProQuest Ebook Central, downloading the full book is not available even though it shows up as an option. You are able to download chapters of the book.

Requesting an article through Interlibrary Loan

If an article is not available through our subscriptions or open access, you may request it through interlibrary loan. We may be able to order a copy for you from another library.

(More information about interlibrary loan is available on the library's "Order an Article or Book" page.)
Step 1: Start by going to the Scott Library website.
Step 2: In the search box, choose the "Articles" tab and enter the article title in the search box.

Step 3: Check off the "Include results from other libraries" box.

Step 4: Click on the article title.

Step 5: Click on "Request Item via Scott Library Interlibrary Loan (Login with Campus Key and Password)"

Step 6: If it is your first time using ILLiad, you will be prompted to enter your contact information. Once you are in ILLiad, the citation information should appear in the "Order an Article" interlibrary loan request form.
Click "Submit" to place the request.

Step 7: You will receive notification once your request has been filled. You can then download the PDF through ILLiad.

More information about interlibrary loan is available on the library's "Order an Article or Book" page.
